Many of them are to the YouTubers whose designs, prototypes and tutorials have helped me build the various bits and pieces of machinery in Sinclair's Foundry - others are just those I like to watch.   THE LET'S PLAY SERIES - PLAYLISTS Paul Soares Jr.'s Survive And Thrive, seasons 2-8 - the reason I got into Minecraft in the first place... blame Paul for all the time I've spent on it! This is the series launched at the time of Minecraft 1.0 and contains Tower Of Power, the pets, and most of the mannerisms Paul became known for. "Season 8" is where he started a new world in version 1.8 that didn't go far. Paul Soares Jr.'s Survive And Thrive, season 1 - the original Minecraft Tutorial series, the first ever tutorials anywhere on YouTube, so it seems. This was in the days of Alpha and Beta and included Cloud Tower and the origins of the Spy Chickens. Paul Plays Minecraft - a subsidiary single-player survival series with no tutorials, just Paul trying to get things done. Contains the reason why I refer to zombie villagers as "Vinnie". Dataless822's Build Big Or Go Home series - Data's first official Let's Play series after he came back to YouTube and Minecraft in late 2012. Contains, as you'd expect, all those unnecessarily massive farms that were all built legitimately in Survival - and which some helpful hints can be extracted from. Dataless822's Minecraft Down Under - Data's second series, started in October 2014 with version 1.8, and still running. Contains one huge farm like the old series, but concentrates more on building an unfeasibly huge base with a lot of detail. Dataless822's Amplified survival - a short-lived series that might never have gone public and collapsed when the world was corrupted. That's what you get for using early snapshots, you fruitloop! Data & Mr. Red's Survival Saturdays - a two-season romp through the darker parts of Data's mind, egged on by his Kentucky-based pal, Mr. Red Dragon. HOLY SMOKES, LOTS OF NAUGHTY WORDS 18+, FAR OUT and other such warnings, don't blame me if your kids watch this one, Data warned you, Red warned you, and I warned you. Data & Mr. Red's Amplified Survival - the follow-up to Survival Saturdays in which Data and Red build their new base in an Amplified world, attempt to murder each other on a daily basis and let their filthy sense of humour run riot ever harder. I approve, although LOTS OF NAUGHTY WORDS 18+ HOLY SMOKES as ever. Datamous Plays Minecraft 1.9 - as Mr. Red departs to run his own channel, Data risks marital strife with Venomous_Wench as they play a new survival world in the late 1.9 snapshots before for the full version of the game drops, when Minecraft Down Under can use the new features. Venom has even more of a sailor's mouth than Red so LOTS OF... do I really need to repeat this again? Seriously? NimsTV plays Skyblock - a seldom-updated series which at the very least shows what is still possible when resources are very scarce and there's a dreadful drop into certain death everywhere for miles around.   THE MECHANICS - amazing redstone and machine builders I could never hope to be as good as... Mumbo Jumbo - Britain Wins Again, Part One: who says we should let the Americans hog all the limelight? xisumavoid - Britain Wins Again, Part Two: who says we should let the Germans hog all the rest of the limelight? docm77 - AAAAAAAAAAAALL RIGHT GUYS, this is DocM, probably the most recognisable public face of the Zipkrowd, they who apply German engineering to the world of Minecraft. JL2579 - CLANGCLANGCLANGCLANGCLANG BOOM!, the founder of the Zipkrowd server, described as "oversizing at the borderline of legitimate vanilla Survival gameplay". NimsTV - he whose machine tutorials have come in very useful in the automation of Sinclair's Foundry. I seem to build more of his creations than any other. Tango Tek - he who is most likely to thwart Mojang's attempts to stop huge machines being made in Minecraft - best illustrated by his three exceptionally detailed iron farms. EthosLab - the original Minecraft engineer? He's been at it since the days of Alpha.   AND THE REST... minecraft.net - the home of "a game about breaking and placing blocks", which I've never heard of in my life. Is it any good? Minecraft Wiki on Gamepedia - everything you ever wanted to know about the how, who, what, why, where, when of Minecraft - the Wiki reveals all. The Minecraft forum - somewhere you can ask all the questions you might want to know the answer too, providing they aren't too noobish and can't be found on the Wiki. AMIDST - an invaluable Java program to help find that elusive Mesa, Ice Plains Spikes or Mushroom Island - or, if you're very lucky, JungleEdge M. Create a separate Minecraft profile using version 1.7.10 for the best results. MineAtlas - an online biome finder to pick up on the additions from 1.8 onwards (i.e. to find Ocean Monuments and igloos). Piston Mechanic - the skin I've been using for the vast majority of Sinclair's Foundry, though I've altered the eyes to be a bit less Manga-eqsue.
