PROJECT 63: GIANA'S ISLAND

Minecraft 1.14 is (supposedly) imminent, an update which will revolutionise villages. Every biome that has a village - which will now include the Ice Plains (or whatever they're calling it now) and, allegedly, also the Jungle - will get redesigned buildings, structures and decorations that are all tailored to the biome they're in - and with the Pillagers coming to kill all the people and take their stuff, they're going to need some more defending.

But I can't help thinking that they've still missed a trick. Why can't we have a village on a Mushroom Island?

This second artificially-created village for this world will aim to showcase my idea of a Mushroom Island village. Unlike Project 50: Colony, which was intended as a block-for-block recreation of a ZX Spectrum map and only involved planting mushrooms (which won't feed the villagers so they won't breed without my assistance), this is a self-sustaining project, and I can come back and visit and watch the population grow (probably out of control).

I am not, as those who have known me for most of my life will tell you, particularly creative - and seeing what Mojang have done with the new 1.14 villages (and I'm particularly enamoured with the new Taiga village buildings), it's likely they'd make something better than what I could come up with - but I have done what I could with my limited resources, and the maximum possible use of mushroom blocks was the number one priority, seeing as they're obtainable with a Silk Touch axe.

And because Mushroom Islands are... weird, I need to do something... equally weird, and out of character. Those who know me, and who have followed the ethos of Sinclair's Foundry, will easily work out why it is out of character.
